Why? Decent hardware designs. Impressive durability. Partnerships deliver exclusives such as Beats Audio. A lot of personalization and color customization. Expensive models deliver more and are worth the money.

Why? Great screen LCD technology ( Toshiba TrueBrite )   ; in general, solid construction but cheaper models are junky. Plenty of bundled software to protect and secure a new PC.
