Troubleshoot and Fix your Problems Fast!

In order to dual boot Windows 8, follow these steps carefully.

Log in into your PC.
Tap the Windows Key + R
Type “ diskmgmt.msc”
Locate your Primary Partition
Right-Click your Primary Partition and select Shrink Volume
Windows will now query for available space… wait until the progress bar finishes.
Now, select the Disk Space to be greater or equal to 20 GB
Select NFTS file system, and recommended options, if prompted.
You will now have a new partition. Name this partition for easy reference
Click here to Download the Windows 8 Release Preview Setup ( the Setup will detect if your system is 32-bit or 64-bit)
Run the Windows 8 Relase Preview Setup….
When Prompted click Install in another partition
Prepare a blank DVD or USB( 3GB or greater)
Select the USB or DVD from the option. This will configure the USB/ DVD as an Windows installation media
Setup will notify that your installation media is ready
Access your computer’s BIOS( in either Boot menu or a Boot utility)
Prioritize your Boot Priority Order to the installation media you created. ( For instance, make CD-ROM the first priority if you created a DVD installation media)
Insert your Installation Media and Restart your Computer
A Windows Loading Screen will appear. Wait till loading is complete
Select Install Now from the Windows Installation prompt
Select Advanced Options when prompted. Select the partition that you created and click Next.
Wait until Setup finishes installing Windows.
You will be prompted that your computer will restart. Continue to Restart.
Remove your installation media and continue. After restarting, Windows 8 will begin setting up personalization features and settings. You should see this screen:
You have now installed Windows 8 on a separate partition to dual-boot.
