LONDON—- Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates was among the spectators for the Olympic Semifinal match between Roger Federer and Juan Martin Del Potro.
The Swiss Maestro made quick work of the second set after having dropped the first set 3-6. The third set, however, went the distance for an unbelievable 36 games.
Gates , a vocal Federer fan who watched the World No.1 claim his first French Open crown, cheered Federer to his first Olympic singles gold medal match. After 4 hours of scintillating tennis, the Microsoft chairman saw Federer raise his hands in triumph.
