Microsoft has announced the BUILD developer event for this year.
The Software giant demoed Windows 8 for the first time at the BUILD conference last year in Anaheim, California to an applauding developer crowd. BUILD will be the centerpiece of Windows 8 discussion this year around…
The Windows conference will take place from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2. at the Microsoft Campus Headquarters in Redmond, Virginia. BUILD was scheduled a week after Windows 8 launches, and promises to be an exciting ceremony of Windows 8.
Microsoft promises that the mega-event will be as big as ever…
“BUILD 2012 will be on the Microsoft campus, and I know what you’re thinking … if it’s not in some cavernous convention hall, then it must be a dialed-down version of last year’s event. But don’t be confused: this will be unlike anything we’ve held on our corporate campus in a long time. More details to come

The conference is not only about Windows 8, with some love going to Windows Azure, Windows Phone 8, Windows Server 2012, and Visual Studio 2012.
BUILD 2012 will be a genuine event, where Microsoft engineers, not executives, go behind the scenes and talk about the products they themselves built
Registration will be available at 8 a.m. PT on August 8 (8.8, hence Windows 8) at www.buildwindows.com.
