Even though the Metro design hasn’t been incorporated into all of Hotmail yet, Hotmail’s new login screen has gotten a small makeover.
Microsoft also unveiled a new Hotmail logo with Microsoft branding on it.
Microsoft is also using the “Microsoft account” dialog instead of the familiar ( but old) Windows Live ID. Going forward, Microsoft intends to make the Microsoft account the central user-login experience throughout its services.

The username and passwords input areas have been made bigger and easier to input words clearly. Other text on the page has been made easier to read by incorporating Metro aspects to it.
This shows that Microsoft is still strongly pushing Metro and is incorporating it on other products.
