Microsoft has made it official. No more guessing. Windows President Steven Sinofsky unveiled the Windows 8 launch date to an eager investor crowd in an annual shareholder’s meeting.
Windows 8 will launch in 231 Markets and 109 Languages on October 26, 2012
Microsoft had previously revealed it was on schedule with Windows 8. Microsoft’s new version of Windows is designed from the ground up to meet consumer needs. Windows 8 is a re-imagining of Windows, with no compromises.
In addition, the company has confirmed it will only have Windows 8 in either a new PC or an upgrade to Windows XP, Vista, or 7.
