Microsoft is now announcing their latest promotion: If you buy a Windows 7 PC between June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013, you will be able to download Windows 8 Professional at only $14.99. The offer is valid for all versions of Windows 7 except Starter, which is found only preinstalled on netbooks.

Microsoft will send the customer the promo code and instructions to purchase and install Windows 8 Pro. The offer also includes 90 days of technical support.
